tl;dr
When you use our contact form, we get your name, email, and project details. We use that to respond to you. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site. We don't sell anything. If you want your data deleted, email us and it's done.
What We Collect
Contact form submissions. Your name, email address, company, budget range, and whatever you write in the project details field. We also receive a reCAPTCHA score in the background; that's Google assigning a bot-likelihood score based on your interaction with the page. It doesn't identify you as a person and we don't store it beyond the form submission.
Call bookings. When you click "Book a Call," you're interacting directly with Calendly. Your booking details (name, email, time slot) go to Calendly and are handled under their privacy policy. We receive a notification with your booking details so we can show up prepared.
Site analytics. Anonymous usage data via Google Analytics: pages visited, time spent, general location (country/city level), device type, and referral source. None of this is linked to a name or email address.
Server logs. Vercel, our hosting provider, automatically logs basic request data (IP address, timestamp, page requested). These are standard for any web host and are retained briefly.
How We Use It
Contact form data is used to respond to your inquiry. If there's a good fit, we'll follow up about working together. That's it. We don't add you to mailing lists, pass your contact to a sales pipeline, or reach out repeatedly if you don't respond.
Analytics data helps us understand which parts of the site are useful, what people are looking for, and where things aren't working. We look at aggregate trends, not individual sessions.
reCAPTCHA scores are used only to filter bot submissions on the contact form. Nothing else.
Third-Party Services
Running a modern website means using a few external services. Here's what we use and why. Each has their own privacy policy. We don't control what they do with data processed on their end.
Your Rights
If you've submitted the contact form or otherwise shared information with us, you can ask what we have on you, ask us to delete it, ask us to correct it, or ask how it was used.
Email us at contact@artinoid.com and we'll respond within a week. We're a small team and there's no bureaucratic process here. Just ask.
Data Retention
Contact inquiries are kept for up to 2 years in case we work together or continue a conversation later. If you ask us to delete yours sooner, we will.
Active client projects. Project-related communications and files are retained for the duration of the engagement and up to 1 year after completion, in case anything comes up.
Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics per our configured retention period (14 months). We don't archive this separately.
Updates
If we change how we collect or use your data in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll reach out to anyone directly affected. Minor wording updates won't get a notification.
// questions?
